Dear Roberto

The Vesto chamber has an inside diameter of 127 (5") and is 330mm high. There is a bit more than 100mm of clear cylinder above the highest secondary air inlet hole. When burning pellets is can hold perhaps 1.5 kg (?) in the lower 180mm of the cylinder (2.25 litres).

It is cylindrical. It is made from spot-welded 3CR12 sheet which can take a high temperature for a sustained period. It discolours, but does not erode much at all. We have never been asked to replace a burned out combustion chamber. The grate at the bottom is subjected to direct corrosion from ash and high temp so it can be eroded eventually.

There is a secondary air preheater around the combustion chamber (which cools the wall) and a stove body around that through which the air is preheated in a down-flowing pattern.

Regards
Crispin
