Hi to all,

I found some time ago, this two interesting videos about combustion.

The first is about solid fuels combustion. In this video, they analyse a
TLUD like combustion at 2:15 minutes.

In the second video of gaseous fuels combustion, they show that a
stoichiometric flame has a more propagation speed than a lean or rich flame.

This means that in a TLUD stove,a stoichiometric mixture have a shorter
flame than a rich mixture. So, i think that this is another way to have a
shorter flame in a TLUD stove. I have seen a lot of TLUD stove with very
rich mixture with very taller flames.

At 3:00 they explain the Fire Whirl, phenomenom that also is applicable to
a TLUD stove or rocket stove with swirl.
