Jock and ccs

	Thanks for the report.

	1. At http://forgreenheat.blogspot.com/2016/04/photo-essay-of-2016-pellet-stove-design.html <http://forgreenheat.blogspot.com/2016/04/photo-essay-of-2016-pellet-stove-design.html>, about 3/4 down, the caption under your photo says:

Jock Gill, representing Jerry Whitfield, speaking about the history of pellet stoves and the potential of biochar. (AGH) -

Can you tell us a bit of what you said on both topics (and their intersection - through Jerry and yourself? For developed countries, but more if applicable.)

	2. In wandering around the site, there was a bit on one (small, developing country cook ) stove that I believe is getting good reviews and can make char: the Mimi Moto. (http://www.mimimoto.nl/ <http://www.mimimoto.nl/>) I was fortunate to see it in parts after the Ethos meeting - looked very well engineered. Was that the only such stove designed for developing country use there at this Alliance meeting?

It had one moving part - a fan, burned pellets - could be fed from the top, was clean burning, powered some lights and charged a battery. It was not configures with a cooking surface, but that would be an easy upgrade. As designed, it did not produce Biochar. It was a 100% combustion device. It was designed for off the grid living and survivalist needs.

I am indeed passionate about retrofitting TEGs to already existing improved cooking stoves to increase their functions especially for the end user to be able to watch a television, able to treat water (UV treatment), able to listen to radios, provide LED lighting as well as charge mobile phones alongside biochar production.

From a research perceptive, It would be great to compare the performance of TEG retrofitted stoves with and without fans especially in terms of fuel consumption rate, duration of operation, emission levels, difference in costs, etc.
