Ingelore Kahrens, Dieter Seifert, Teddy Kinyanjui and stovers,
the theme „fireless cookers“ was mentioned by Paal Wendelbo several times before he passed away unfortunately. I admit that it does not match with the WBT but it is indeed the number one device to save enormous amounts of cooking fuel like charcoal, wood, LPG and solar cooking power. With a correctly made insulated basket - I do not talk about the Wonder Bag - you can cook everything ready which needs a temperature of up to 100°C/213°F. This includes Ugali, Posho, Foufou, Matoke, Beans, etc. Teddy, if you did not sell a lot it means that you were not instructed thoroughly about the handling. I recommend to look at the publications of Practical Action or call Faustine Odaba of Natural Resources and Waste Management Alliance by phone at +254722828317 again to get instructed intensely. Fireless Cookers are spreat widely in Africa, mostly by womens initiatives.
