[Stoves] Why don't solar stoves have more impact?

There's also the issue of how many dishes to cook at once or in a sequence. Most meals in South and East Asia involve multiple dishes that take different amounts of time to cook. I've been messing around with DIY solar cooker designs and I've found them to be good for soups, stews and breads, but you still need a fast and hot stove like an LPG unit or a gasifier. Solar cookers just take too darn long to cook anything.
