Kind regards to Rebecca. We’re lucky to have her dedicated to clean cooking. She was a top Philippine scholar in her college days and she is still enthusiastically making waves! : - ) 

We are hoping that Neil Lumanlan from University Santo Tomas in Manila will also be able to make it. He has been working with TLUDS and biochar.  Neil recently represented IBI at an Asian Development Bank sponsored green business conference.

            A few hours ago, I said:  “  I will next see if I can afford the airfare.  (4 days off)

            The answer was affirmative - at least getting me in and out of Manila.  I am counting on being able to get also to Panay in time for the Monday opening.

            If anyone reading this has an interest in sharing a room, I’d appreciate hearing about it - before I leave in about 18 hours.

            I got a very good airline price - so this is to encourage others (especially in Asia) to give it a thought.  If those persons haven’t visited the meeting site given below - I hope it can convince them to give it a try as well.

            No need for Rebecca to answer questions now - hope to see you in about 4 days.   And, Rebecca, thanks for the heads-up on the meeting;  I must have been asleep.
