	Whew!    I think at least three PhD theses in the following.     No way I can add anything useful to the new ideas below.

	I add Stephen as the only person I know able to add to this electrochemistry view of biochar.   And Stephen started this thread. 

	The good thing is that a lot of these suggested modifications to biochar seem to happen naturally over time - and no big expense suggested by Nikolaus’ observations on doing better.

	Anyone else in this electrochemical side of improving biochar?
