I think Roger was referring to powering the cooker by electricity
generated by PV panels rather than leaving the food out to cook in the
sun.

Much as I like the idea of solar thermal cooking I don't find it
practical at 51N in UK but I do generate about 3MWh of electricity
each year from PV.
