Speaks of "clean cooking solutions" (undefined).

Three most promising applicants will be provided coaching and financing
facilitation services ONLY, not any finance.

"Proposals must demonstrate that the project is commercially and
technically viable with zero or only minimal grant funding required."


"When a project is considered to be mature enough to be presented to
investors, PFAN will provide investment facilitation services as elaborated
in section 8: Investment Facilitation, or such project may be brought into
the Financing Forum stream which is an intensive process that is conducted
in a business plan competition format as outlined in section 7. Regardless
of which stream a project may undergo, the coaching service is structured
to meet project development requirements and all projects will get a chance
for investment facilitation when the time is right."

Overall timeline - July 2017 (application deadline) to February 18
(attendance at a Financing Forum, up to 10 candidates, whose travel from
within Asia will be covered), when the most promising 3 applicants will be
selected to be helped with financing (presumably grant/debt, no equity and
perhaps guarantees). Minimum suggested financing requirement $1 million.

In principle, I like the Evaluation Criteria for the three stages.

An innovative approach to financing, especially new market entrants with
some demonstration of market understanding, management experience, and
maturity.
