Dear Partners,

The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves in partnership with Tulodo, a consulting and project management company specializing in social and behavior change, is pleased to offer an opportunity for partners to participate in a live webinar that presents highlights from recent work in Indonesia and the implications for creating value and changing behaviors in clean cooking interventions. 

On Thursday, May 18 at 9:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), Nick Goodwin, Director of Tulodo, will discuss how a large project in Indonesia researched user and social benefits for planning an integrated marketing and engagement strategy. Goodwin will also discuss how competition, segmentation, incentive, and co-creation approaches were used. The webinar will also draw on Goodwin’s review of behavior change techniques in global cleaner cooking programs.

About the Webinar Series: This webinar, designed for new and existing partners, is part of a series that provides an overview of the Alliance’s work, the benefits of partnership, highlights, upcoming opportunities for partners, and features on specific tools, resources, and engagement activities.

The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves is a United Nations Foundation-hosted public-private partnership to save lives, improve livelihoods, empower women, and protect the environment by creating a thriving global market for clean and efficient household cooking solutions. The Alliance’s goal calls for 100 million households to adopt clean and efficient stoves and fuels by 2020. The Alliance is working with over 1,600 public, private, and non-profit partners to accelerate the production, deployment, and use of clean cookstoves and fuels in the developing world.
