[Stoves] Passing of Prof Philip Lloyd

Shocked!

Philip shared some work of his off-list, and I noticed when he posted the
news of the passing of his ex-wife on Facebook.

This is a sad, sad moment.

I hope someone pulls together his unpublished writings. I just discovered a
delightful last blog he wrote in April this year.

An engineer who knows processes, not just substances. Just so happens I was
reading the Emperor's New Clothes to a little girl last night. How people
do not want to admit the truth if they are told that to do so means they
are incompetent or idiotic.
