Tony it's Dale you should be thanking, I only reposted it to the list
when the listbot trapped it as being oversize.
I too have had a bit of success in solar drying my logs for use in my
home, for space heating in a wood burning space heater. I was
regularly seeing tem[temperatures above 40C and RH below 30% in a lean
to glazed with corrugated PVC sheeting. It dried from 40% to 20% in a
month in summer.
I was so pleased that when I had to have some double glazed patio
doors replaced I used the old ones to make an open fronted 4m3 shed,
glass roof and sides.
