Paul Arveson: the given replies are quite complete but it must be determined first what a meal portion is all about. The differentiation between hard and soft food is not satisfying. It shall be determined by the energy delivered, the energy the cooking took (mass, time, temperature) and the accompanying circumstances like with/without lid, amount of vaporized water, etc.
But first, the weight of a so-called meal portion must be determined. I just sent you a separete eMail to your account at gmail which I have in my 1916 files.
