[Stoves] Forced draft gasifiers - Lao PDR

The Ministry of Energy and Mines intends to apply for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Clean Cook Stove Initiative Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The Lao PDR Clean Cook Stove Initiative (the project) is distributing 50,000 forced-draft gasifier cookstove to enhance energy efficiency in cookstoves and reduce carbon emissions from households across eight to eleven districts in three provinces (Vientiane Capital, Savannakhet, and Champasack Provinces) in Lao PDR.
