[Stoves] Remembering Dr. Larry Winiarski

Dear cookstove community, 

 

Our friend and mentor, Dr. Larry Winiarski, passed away at his home in
Oregon on August 5th at the age of 81. Inventor of the rocket stove and
grandfather of the clean cooking movement, Larry was a true humanitarian and
wonderful teacher in all things related to clean and efficient combustion
and appropriate technology.

 

A memorial is planned for Saturday August 28th at 1:30 pacific time both in
person in Oregon and on zoom. The invitation is attached and zoom link is
