The Jet-Flame is a retrofit for existing cookstoves that injects fan-driven
jets of air up into a cooking fire. This can help families that cook with
wood dramatically improve their cooking experience at a low cost by
enhancing their existing stove to reduce harmful smoke by up to 89%, making
the fire easier to light and cook faster, and decreasing fuel use. These
impacts can help address the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals around
clean energy, good health, gender equity, and climate action.

Winning this award will help fund Aprovecho's efforts to improve the design
