Gentlemen, <br><br> To simplify and clarify names for equipment pushing and pulling gasses into and out of fires,<br> biomass stovers may borrow well understood terms from the power, and propulsion-boiler industry.<br><br>A rotating machine pushing combustion air into the fires is always called the Forced-Draft Blower.<br>A rotating machine pulling products of combustion out from the fires, is called the Induced-Draft Fan, or I.D. fan for short.<br>Please use and enjoy these standard terms other combustion guys have used for a long time.<br><br> When low cost energy to drive these machines is available where the user lives,<br>the overall size, and weight of the system can be reduced.<br> A 1/2 watt electric-driven forced-draft blower will release a very strong heat from cherry pits.
