In particular, sampling from tube flow including isokinetic and iso-axial sampling as well as sampling at unknown flow conditions will be discuseed. Causes of particles losses in transport tubing resulting from gravitational, inertial, diffusion, electrostatic, and thermophoretic factors will all be explored; in addition to such topics as coagulation during transport, flow splitting, and tips for optimizing tube transport.
