I'm fully in support of some sort of International ratification, so that every stove can be truly 'measured' and determined with a formal world wide accepted rating. I really applaud the idea of an ISO standard for 'stoves', because everybody can then work in a consistent manner to get results. <BR> <BR>There is so much 'technical' talk on this listing that I feel many probably do not understand and depending on the base 'fuel' that you are using may or may not be relevant. <BR> <BR>I'm looking at rice husks as being fuel and unfortunately, the burning methods of wood do not apply for my project, however understanding the process of pyrolisation does. Do I 'cook' the raw material at 250C or go for a full burn at >800C. I don't know, but I signed up with this group to try and find out.<BR> <BR>There are so many conficting reports that I'm more confused than I was at the start. Torrefaction (what temp?); Pyrolisation (what temp?); or just burn the damn stuff and create Ash as a cement additive?<br> <BR><div><div id="SkyDrivePlaceholder">It's just so difficult to understand what to do for a newcomer into this field.
