<div>the lady asking for a dung burning stove had already explained the fact that she was working for people living above the tree line and that wood was not available at that altitude. There are many such areas. For instance, in Ladakh in India, yak dung is the only fuel available for cooking.</div>
<div>It is not necessary that one has to use dung or other biomass for supplying agricultural crops with the necessary minerals. Soil has all the minerals that plants need. If your land has a 1 m thick layer of soil on it, you can practice agriculture for 25000 years without adding any minerals from an outside source to the soil. There are special ways of making the soil minerals available to crops. I can write to you privately about it if you are interested.</div>
