Although Richard Stanley tried to send his reply to everyone, I did
not receive a copy via the Stoves Listserv. So I am forwarding to
the List the message below that is from Richard.

Thanks for the over the top intro but In reality there is
lots for us to share as we do in the briq network. I as just one
of that network, have as many questions for you as you may have
of me. We are newbies in Nicaragua and only have a couple of
years experience in Guatemala and our espanol is still weak. The
only king in the networking of briquetters, is the process.

See you thurs afternoon and thanks Approvecho for offering
the space and time.

Stovers and friends,

If you are interested in biomass briquettes (of any and ALL
types), you should consider attending the presentations and
demonstrations of Richard Stanley (the King of Briquetting) at
special optional activities on the Thursday afternoon and
evening at Stove Camp 2014 at Aprovecho in Oregon, USA.

He wrote to me that he could present:
A. fiber binding principles and
B. more recent insights about processing of animal dung from
East Africa and
C. densification of briquettes using selected granular
combustible fines and dust with demonstration and examples of
the latter, and
D. about his project development efforts and design work on our
Molino ya mano [Manual grinder/mill for preparation of biomass
for briquetting] and semi industrial press in Guatemala and
Nicaragua.

Those who are present at the meeting will choose what topics
would fit the group's interests best.

Administrative Notes:
1. Participation with Richard is OPTIONAL and available at
no extra fee to all who register for Stove Camp.
2. If you only want the time with Richard Stanley,
arrangements can be made. Aprovecho has an attitude of
service and wants as many people as possible to attend all or
part of Stove Camp, so there are possibilities of having "per
day" registration fees (rather than the full week), AND
Aprovecho can modify the fees for justified cases of financial
limitations. All such arrangements are directly with Mike

(My role is only about content. And Richard Stanley is
Content with a capital C !!!!)

We are only 3 weeks away from the start of camp on Monday 21
July.

Also of note: Joshua Guinto of the Philippines will be at
the 2014 Stove Camp. Here is your chance to meet a highly
innovative Stover!!
