There are other means Hg analyzers that easily get to ppt range. The cheapest way is to purchase an old AA and use a Hg lamp. Get an old cheep one. Then using a PVC pipe section place between the lens, (there is no flame) you do the chemistry in a large 60ml syringe and inject the gases of Hg into the pipe. There are two ports (one at each end) to do that.
