A forthcoming issues of "Boiling Point" should have an article about how <br>
char-making capabilities of some cookstoves (most clearly the TLUD <br>
micro-gasifiers, and maybe a few others) could be important as <br>
"enablers" for cookstove adoption and financing.<br>

This article should touch upon how char-making can be a positive feature <br>
in cookstoves.<br>

Working title: Char-making Stoves Enable Stove Adoption (can be <br>
changed, please.)<br>
Topics include:<br>
Carbon-negative operation ( climate-change impact)<br>
Ability to obtain carbon credits (example is the Champion stove by <br>
Servals with Atmosfair participation).<br>
Soil enhancement (Biochar and increased food production)<br>
Ability to use many "biomass refuse" types (less need to cut down <br>
living trees)<br>
Reduction of black carbon emissions (appeal to the educated societies <br>
and countries that should want the impoverished people to have such <br>
stoves so much at those with money should cover much of the cost of the <br>
stoves)<br>
etc<br>
etc.<br>
Note that this has NOT focused on the supposed "enablers of adoption" <br>
such as clean combustion/low emissions/better health aspects of <br>
cookstoves, of which the TLUDs / char-maker stoves are among the leading <br>
contenders. Should that be a separate article? The Guest Editors could <br>
give us some guidance.<br>

Either someONE needs to step up and want to write this paper, OR we need <br>
to have a MULTI-AUTHOR prime quality article.<br>
<br>
Remember, Boiling Point is now an peer-reviewed journal, so this article <br>
can really count for those who need academic "credit".<br>
<br>
NOTE: I, Paul Anderson, will NOT be a sole author. I would <br>
participate in a joint effort, but we need one or more lead authors.<br>
<br>
DO NOT BE SHY!!! If interested in WORKING on such a paper (or <br>
contrubutng some key segment), please make yourself known. Perhaps a <br>
"working group" will be identified.<br>
