in the lab to test and optimize cook stoves. He conducts trainings on stove characterization, stove design, and data analysis for users of the company’s in-house manufactured emissions equipment, the LEMS. The gravimetric PM2.5 component of the LEMS was designed
from concept to manufacture by Mr. Bentson. His article in Energy for Sustainable Development, “The influence of initial fuel load on Fuel to Cook for batch loaded charcoal cookstoves,” formed the basis for the charcoal stove found in the new book Clean Burning
