Our upscaled design was used to produce about 600Kg of biochar which was applied on Malaysian acidic soils to enhance biochar-soil functions. The above project was the basis for my first Ph.D (Chemical engineering).</div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463695680491_6688" dir="ltr"><br></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463695680491_6688" dir="ltr">And finally, my most recent encounter has been working on a project in the UK which is part of an international consortium project which aims to develop hybrid bioenergy system for rural applications. As part of this project, we tested the usage of a 10KWe power pallet (manufactured by allpower labs) to produce electricity alongside biochar and the project is nearly concluded forming the basis for my second Ph.D (Chemical engineering)</div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463695680491_6688" dir="ltr"><br></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1463695680491_6688" dir="ltr">In brief, I have had the chance to work on biochar and cooking stoves with experience in Africa, Asia and Europe.
