I recommend that you go to this link and download the 2016 Progress
Report of the GACC. I believe it came out two months ago. Some
comments:<br>

1. It is a good report and worth reading.<br>
<br>
2. I don't think the report was mentioned on this Stoves Listserv
until just recently, when it caught my eye. I recommend that the
GACC and other organizations (ESMAP, Winrock, and many more) please
be sure to send a note with links to this Listserv to be sure that
we all see the reports, etc. as soon as they are released. That is
what HEDON does. <br>

3. From pages 6 and 7:

report, stoves and fuels that meet Tier 2 for efficiency are
considered efficient and those that meet Tier 3 for indoor

AND<br>
Figure 1 has a projection of reaching 250 million acceptable stoves
by 2020. That might be possible if major programs like India's 50
MILLION LPG stoves by 2020 and China's major governmental support
both kick in with massive amounts of money.<br>
<br>
When we discuss the report, be sure to be clear about what is good,
and not just pick on certain issues with which that you disagree. <br>
