David and all:
<div class="">these PCM devices like the Sun Bucket are existing
in multiple versions but most of them not (yet) ready for mass
production. Salts are corrosive. Parrafin wax works up to 120°C
only. Sugars have a poor heat conduction. In every case one
should keep in mind that these items are delivering only the
energy that has been put into the PCM unit before. </div>
<div class="">In combination with solar cookers and/or TLUD
gasifiers I obtained best results with basket style fireless
cookers, made by tenthousands in East Africa by women
initiatives. Projects in Togo and Eastern Congo are just now
conducted. The advantage, except that the baskets are a lot
cheaper: the heat for cooking has been transferred into the food
and not to a separate device. It does not lose a lot of energy
via the sides and the top of the pot. What women love most: the
fireless cookers work as a cooker, a warmer and a cooler.
Yoghurt can be processed. The energy input (fuel) deduction
ratio is at about 50%. Look at the instructions at my paper and
be convinced: <a moz-do-not-send="true"
