TLUD Gasifier Stoves: Review, Highlights, and Discussion.<br>
Morning Informal session at the 2017 GACC Forum in India<br>

The Top-Lit UpDraft (TLUD = tee-lud) micro-gasification
technology is presented concerning six topics (of
approximately 10 to 12 minutes each):<br>
<br>
A. Review of the TLUD technology and how it is distinctive. <br>
(Short summary, including major ND and FA types) <br>
B. Introduction of current producers and projects, with
distribution of printed materials. <br>
(At least 10 are expected to be represented. NOT
corporate sales presentations.)<br>
C. Summary of differences and similarities of TLUD products
and projects.<br>
(Structured comments to highlight issues and the diversity
of approaches with TLUD stoves)<br>
D. Successes, continuing challenges, and ongoing R&D.<br>
(Especially about costs, user acceptance, fuel options,
char-making, and innovative products)<br>
E. Outline of opportunities for additional producers and
projects.<br>
(How attendees can initiate TLUD activities in their
areas; offers of assistance)<br>
F. Open discussion, with efforts to establish communications
of mutual benefit.<br>

sometimes highlighted) at the following sessions of the 2017
Forum in Delhi: <br>

Monday (Pre-Forum) 14:30 – 17:00 “Cooking 101” Overview of
stoves and stove activities<br>
<br>
Tuesday 14:30 – 16:00 “India Clean Cooking Forum: Session 1”
with include panelist Moulindu Banerjee about financing,
marketing and acceptance of TLUD stoves. Includes some
updates of the highly successful Deganga pilot project.<br>
<br>
Tuesday 18:00 – 21:00 “Welcome Reception and Cookstoves and
Fuels Exhibition” See the “booth” that will be a gathering
point for TLUD stoves, and see the TLUD stoves ignited and in
operation during the demonstrations that evening.<br>
<br>
Wednesday 07:30 – 08:45 “TLUD Gasifier Stoves: Review,
Highlights, and Discussion” Described above.<br>
<br>
Wednesday 11:00 – 11:30 “Stories of Impact” Speaker Carlo
Figa Talamanca operates in Cambodia a very large production of
charcoal from waste (coconut shells) using TLUD pyrolytic
combustion. <br>
<br>
All days: We hope and expect that TLUD gasifier stoves and
Woodgas fuel will be mentioned in many of the other Forum
sessions. <br>
Also, Paul Anderson and other TLUD enthusiasts/practitioners
will be available (and seeking contacts) during breaks, meals
and other hours. <br>
<br>
Friday and Saturday: Dr. Anderson will be available in Delhi
on the Post-Forum days of Friday and Saturday at locations and
times that are not yet specified; (not on a site-visit /field
trip); contact him at the Forum. <br>
