Dear Cheng,

I am delighted to see your TLUD efforts using tin cans
(canisters). I do not associate tin cans with China, but I guess
they are increasingly abundant as China makes major progress with
development. I write more in my next message that will follow soon.

Back to stoves, it turns out that "limiting primary
air from above" is not a good idea, when gas is
restricted from above, the burning process continues
downwards, still pretty fast, leaving the upper part of
the fuel burned more incompletely. Making the inner
cylinder and air base more air-tight is a better
approach.

I've made some little addons for my TLUD stove, for
better ignition, turbulance, insulation and third
combustion. maybe I will post some pictures later.

Now lest we put Cheng off posting let's talk about
stoves.

We dearly need input and experience from his part
of the world to add
to our corpus of knowledge.
