I pointed out in my previous message that in Indonesia (and the Philippines actually) kitchens are not 'indoors' in the western sense. </div>

The hazards of combustion have to be considered in context. The woman you mentions is Rebecca who has done great work with localised production of quite high performance stoves in refugee and disaster situations. She has both assisted and benefited from participation
on this list. </div>

I appreciate the contextual scenes but I'm not at all good at<br>
recognising stoves. What's the one at 3:17, it seems to have the<br>
shortest, and probably best mixed, flame. The others seem to impinge<br>
the pot and hence may be prematurely quenched.<br>
