I am sending this email because I know you and your organization have been involved in creating solution for the energy needs of the people living in developing countries (e.g., microgasification). This is a topic that I have dedicated years to, and the very reason why I came to study at TUDelft, in The Netherlands.</div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class=""><br class=""></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;" class="">My thesis is on a novel biomass gasifier-burner "the Kulkan" which reports an efficiency of 60-65%, the highest as of now (compared to the 5-13% of open fires and 25-35% of rockets and TLUD gasifiers). I investigated the concept using highly detailed mathematical models, including computational fluid dynamics of reacting flow -CFD- in 3D, using the cluster here at the Energy & Process department.
