[Digestion] Goat and sheep to power an Abattoir

G'day Vianney,

For 30 kW you are probably looking at Chinese or Indian technology as
"western" companies only think BIG (I may be wrong). Capstone micro-turbines
may fit the bill though. What may be useful is to have 2-3 smaller units
(actually Fiat used to supply one based on a Fiat 500cc engine I think) so
you can adjust to gas production but still run at near full load (and you
have a standby if one fails.

All the best,

HOOROO

Subject: [Digestion] Goat and sheep to power an Abattoir

Hello AD friends,

How all is well. I got a call today from an abattoir, they are looking at
Generating biogas from 2000-2500 goats/sheep intended to be slaughtered per
day. My system estimates 4.8 tons of waste every day, this is expected to
generate 300 cubic metres of biogas hence I estimate 30kw.

What size of a biogas driven generator would i need to get the job done?
Where can I find this generator and at what cost?

Thanks
