[Gasification] Gasification Digest, Vol 8, Issue 6

I have always thought that a pile of leaves posses considerable thermal energy, probably equaling the equivalent of 1kw per sw yard if the surface area of each leaf were noted.
If this pile of leaves were compressed into pellets for pyrolization, what gasifier design would be needed to extract this potential energy?
I have about 50 trees which have an ever increasing molting rate. I clear up this crap and need somewhere sensible to put it. ( sensible comments only please)
If all this debris can be gasified, there is surely a market for the needed apparatus.

I continue to learn more and more about lignin as a key component of
aia-Earth and the precursor of all our coal PLUS our 20% oxygen
tmosphere which could only exist with carbon sequestration as coal.
Mostly in Texas, we have a legume, Mesquite, that has 64% lignin and
herefore yields 34% charcoal in our TLUD stove!
How is it possible for one species to be so far out of line with
thers?  Do you have anything comparable In India?
t is quite common in the northern forest of the US to find huge brown
ogs of pure lignin remaining after all the cellulose has been eaten
y microorganisms.  They take 100 years to fully decompose and even
hen they add duff to the forest floor.  Do you have anything
omparable in India?
These logs are easily reduced to a face powder consistency in my
ife's food blender ( when she's not looking).   I wonder if there is
nything that this could be used for.  Glue for plywood?  Medicines?
