If you are compressing the gas  containing Nitrogen, then Nitrogen can be removed using "Pressure Swing Adsorption" utilizing a suitable molecular Sieve such as 6A perhaps. A PSA system is a relatively simple to construct, the process should yield  85-90 % efficiency

You can use O2 instead of air to inject in your gasifier:)

It seems difficult to take aways all N2 in the producer gas....
