Dear Doug,
Looks good, let's see where there might be devils:
1. Down draft, needs pelleted or larger sized feedstock?
2.	what happens to the removed tars and of course water?
3. Cyclones are unneeded if designed right
4. ESP's are obsolete.
5.	Ash C content?
6. Blowers after the fact are less efficient than before the reactor. Operating in a negative pressure asks for leaks and possible explosions.
7.	Control system way too complicated.
8. Cost of course.

Sincerely,

Leland T. "Tom" Taylor

Subject: [Gasification] Potential Gasification Winner?

Hi Gasification Colleagues,

I was sent this link a few days ago, seeking clarification of the information about this gasification system.

http://www.rrbtu.com/technology/

With all the accumulative experience available to this forum as specifically applied to producer gas, how well does this present information to an ignorant potential user? Is it possible to accept all that is said, given that as a presentation, it suggests that they have resolved all the environmental issues that water scrubbers present?

The executive team comes with a lot of experience, and it looks like considerable financial support, so is this a system that is heading for success, given that so many others have failed in the USA?

Doug Williams,
Fluidyne.
