..hell yeah, trash dump fees are easily US$250 per ton and
holds around 2/3 of the energy of wood, so do the math. ;o)

..for Norway, it probably keeps Statoil.com from having to 
compete against e.g. EU MSW in e.g. my kinda gasifiers.
