[Gasification] The Coffee Car

Coffee husks (silverskin) are paper thin so pelletizing makes sense. Spend
grounds would also be available.
A few years ago a company here supplied two 25 kWe gasifiers for coffee
husks (silverskin) to Costa Rica. I saw the husks and the gasifier but never
saw it run and wasn't invited back. We understand that the gasifiers in
Costa Rica never operated.

I need to correct my reply. At 5:20 of the video he states that they are
using the chaff.

They are using used coffee grounds that are pelletized. It is shown on some
of their other videos.

In one small segment they mention that the fuel is "coffee pellets" which
presumably are pellets made from spent coffee.
I think he's using coffee husks.
