 Hi Jason and Colleagues,

Thanks for all the ideas that have been promoted, and as you can see, I have completed all the variations possible within the limitations imposed by existing mechanisms. This pedal linkage allowed me to change rotating arcs, which in the end all determine the distance of travel and the forces at the cutting edge.

Having proven the simple hand guillotine both works and with a reasonable amount of force at the blade, that is the end of my involvement to make the concept principles into some thing else. It isn't hard for me to see, that larger mechanised versions could have plenty of scope to be included in all sorts of cutting applications, but don't expect me to design them for you(:-)

Will find time this week to draw up the design and make it available on the Fluidyne Archive www.fluidynenz.250x.com as soon as possible, and advise you accordingly.

 Doug Williams,
 Fluidyne.
