Dear Tom, Mark, list members, 

Free open source data and information is a ground breaking world wide trend which supports the principle, ( which also happens to be backed by scientific study). "It is better to give than it is to receive" 
I am a firm believer of this principle, it has proven itself over and over again.
 I am not a rich man for my ideas but consider myself better off. I have inspired many and  I have also seen many prosper monetarily and otherwise  because they chose to give. A contribution to the whole of humanity. 
Amen to that.

Wait until some day when he gets an idea and wants to make a living on it, which some folks do, and finds out that everyone wants it for free and his scorn is reversed.
