Gasification Listers

 

Some of you may be interested in the 17th annual Bioenergy Australia (www.bioenergyaustralia.org) conference, to be held in Brisbane 14-15 November, with a technical excursion on 16 November.  Conference topics include gasification, pyrolysis and hydrothermal liquefaction.  The tour is lined up to include a visit to QCAT, the Queensland Centre for Advanced Technology to view the CSIRO’s gasification research and gasifiers. This year we expect three sessions in the conference from IEA Bioenergy (on drop-in biofuels, energy from biogas and on biorefining). We are open for presentation proposals until into early August.

This year, our event is being held at the Mercure Brisbane from 14th - 15th November with a Technical Tour on the16th November. 

'Bio is Big' in Queensland!
These are exciting times for bioenergy in Queensland with several new projects in place and a  <http://bioenergyaustralia.us5.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=5b5da5290667c44272a2b0430&id=a8d23893c6&e=41b1403a8e> soon to be announced 10 Year Biofutures Roadmap from the Queensland Government.  Biofuels and industrial biotechnology have emerged as priority sectors for Queensland.

World Bioenergy Experts in Brisbane!
This year we will be hosting several IEA Bioenergy Task meetings with several international bioenergy experts presenting and attending the Conference.  We will have three IEA Bioenergy Sessions and representation from the IEA Bioenergy ExCo meetings held in New Zealand the week prior to our Conference.
