Hi Gasification Colleagues,

While it's hard to find some thing new to report or write about, I have
finally added another file to the Fluidyne Archive.

http://www.fluidynenz.250x.com/

I traveled once again to the Biochar Project at CalForest Nurseries in
Etna California in late July 2017, to commission a new component called
an Eductor to suck pyrolysis gas out of the charmaker.
It was great to be actually doing something that had practical results,
but doing it in Summer temperatures did prove to be a challenge.

As always, to run a process that needs tonnes input/hr, the fueling
system became the greatest challenge, mainly in that consumption
stability was extremely difficult to balance, resulting in raw chip
sneaking through without charing. These issues have been rectified, and
the current test programme December/January is hoping to see only char
in the bags.

Hope you find this interesting.

Doug Williams,
Fluidyne.
