Subject: OFFER: two fairly large archives of wood energy related literature

 

Dear all,  I have two fairly large archives of wood energy related literature to dispose of and I am offering them free to anyone who can collect them from Derby (in the UK).  Perhaps the best way to describe the content of the archives is to explain that I collected the material during my PhD (on ‘Characterisation and control of a batch-loaded biomass gasifier-combustor’) in the 1990’s and while technical director of a bioenergy startup until 2004, creating a superheated steam drying system and a gasification-fired gas turbine system that co-produced charcoal, heat and power, in addition to selling wood pellet stoves and consultancy services.  Since 2004 I have been an employee of Rolls-Royce and the archive has been unused and taken up space in my garage/house.  A variety of academic papers, conference proceedings, manufacturers’ technical literature, leaflets and books, the first archive requires about 2 m of shelf space.  The second archive is everything more directly associated with the products and aspirations of our bioenergy startup.  It too requires about 2 m of shelf space.
