[Greenbuilding] best lumber for raised vegetable beds

We used Trex (original recycled formula) for our deck in 2000. Portion of it
stays in shade and can stay damp. No degradation at all. Only problems are
staining--grease around the grill and some topical mildew in the shaded area
that cleans up. But big deal as far as I¹m concerned.
