Hard not to agree with that.
Portland, Oregon has some of the worst insolation values in the winter, and
yet I see plenty of roofs with West facing PV arrays. And these are
grid-connected heavily subsidized systems(!) Can someone remind me where I
can look up online how much of a hit such a system is likely to take because
of its orientation?
