[Greenbuilding] Heat Pump Water Heater

One issue I haven't seen discussed much is noise. I know several people who
installed HPWHs. Those who installed them in basements have been very
pleased with the performance, including helping dehumidify the basement.
Those who installed them in closets in the main level of the house have
found the noise levels very annoying. Don't know what brands are quieter,
but certainly something  to look at, as well as sound mitigation strategies
if installing one.
