[Greenbuilding] Motorized Caulk Guns

It will depend on the sealant chemistry, particularly the solvent. It should deb possible to find out from the manufacturer or even the literature on the bucket.
We have used acrylic sealants between seams, applied with a wide putty knife rather than a caulking gun. Look at a product like BASF Enershield. Absolutely compatible with EPS. It is not likely to crack, but then, acoustical sealant could also have small areas of debunking. Both depend more on workmanship than material science.
