[Greenbuilding] Ridge Vent on Corugated Metal Roof

I made a mistake on my last metal roof install: the gap I left for ridge venting, seemingly well under the cap,
was good for rain, but not for snow! Snow is light, and gets blown into spaces that will never see rain.
