Thermopane windows strike me as problematic because of their limited
lifetime. Single pane with single pane storm achieves decent insulation
without the short design life, need for centralized, industrial scale
manufacturing. There are/were so many folks on this list who know this all
much better than I do. I'll step back and wait for their contributions.
