[Digestion] Pressure measurement tool

G'day Vianney et al,

The simplest and most accurate method for measuring low pressures is a
manometer. This is simply a U tube filled with water, where one side of the
U is exposed to the supply pressure and the other end is open to atmosphere
- you may need to restrict one side to reduce the fluctuations in water
level. You can make the whole thing out of clear plastic tube so it is
unbreakable and easy to pack. If you need more accuracy you can use a
lighter fluid (like alcohol) and adjust the conversion to Pa by using the
different density or by laying the U tube at an angle (then you have to use
trigonometry to calculate the vertical distance).

You then measure the vertical distance between the two water surfaces and
quote the pressure in mm of water, which is why I used that unit in the gas
Calculator, or convert to Pa by multiplying mm * 9.8 to get gauge pressure
(relative to atmospheric pressure).

I hope this is enough explanation,

HOOROO

Hello Biogas fans,

How can I make a mobile biogas pressure measure instrument? Thanks
