[Digestion] Environmentalists Anti-AD Issues

I just heard from a usually reliable source that land application of
digestate from Source Separated Organics food scrap digestion has been
banned in the Greater Vancouver BC area.


Cursory web search makes reference to banning Source Separated Organics from
landfilling, as is the case in many other areas of Canada, such as this
reference:

In the first few pages of a Google search, I have not found anything
specific about digestate, however.  Anyone know whether or not this is an
enacted or even pending regulation?
